![]() Rolled dice which do not occur in multiples represent "random life events" which give you some odd abilities which do not fit tightly into a particular profession. ![]() The first two multiples give you a "basic package" worth 40 CPs, and each further multiple give you 20 CP worth of additional advantages, skills, and/or attributes which show your increased proficiency. For example, if you rolled 2 times a "3", you have barely started in that career, but if you rolled it four times, you are a seasoned veteran. Multiples represent a certain job or profession which you have held, and the number of multiples represents how skilled you are in that profession. (20 CP is a good value since it allows you to increase IQ or DX by 1). For random character generation, you roll a number of dice. So I'm asking myself: Why not create a similar system for GURPS? Everyone knows that the random character creation system for Reign rocks on toast.
